Custom PLC & Relay Logic Panels
Anything that isn’t a standard package — a specified control platform, controllers built without a microprocessor at all, extra functions on an otherwise ordinary elevator, and stand-alone equipment fitted to an existing installation.
Allen-Bradley is the platform customers ask for by name more often than any other, and it is the usual answer where a building already carries Allen-Bradley spares and has people who can program it. Another platform is equally possible where the maintaining company has standardised on something else.
Relay logic is often the point rather than a preference. Where an obsolete controller is being replaced and the authority having jurisdiction will accept a like-for-like replacement, a relay controller keeps the job inside the existing approval — which can spare the owner from bringing the whole installation up to current code to change one panel.
Owners and consultants usually ask for features rather than a control platform — security restrictions and card-reader floor locking, medical or emergency service, express runs to a single floor. Those are built as asked and in full compliance with the code and safety requirements that apply to the installation.
Not every job is a controller. We also build stand-alone equipment that works alongside one — speed monitoring, security lockout, unintended motion detection and similar devices added to an installation that is otherwise staying as it is.
